Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing operation based in Wokingham. This is a temporary position starting ASAP, with the potential to continue through to Christmas and possibly beyond, subject to workload and business requirements. The successful candidate will be working as part of the production team, operating production machinery and assisting with the assembly of frames. Key Responsibilities - Operating production machinery safely and efficiently. - Assembling frames and components to the required specification. - Following production instructions and processes. - Using basic hand tools and equipment where required. - Checking assembled products for quality and ensuring they meet the required standards. - Working to production targets and deadlines. - Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. - Following all company Health & Safety procedures. - Supporting the wider production team as required. About You We are looking for someone who is: - Reliable and punctual. - Practical and hands-on. - Comfortable working with machinery and tools. - Able to follow instructions accurately. - Quality-conscious with good attention to detail. - Physically capable of carrying out a hands-on production role. - A good team player with a positive attitude. - Previous production, manufacturing, assembly or warehouse experience would be advantageous. - Must have their own safety boots.
