Location Options We currently have live opportunities across three key sites: JLR Whitley: Abbey Rd, Whitley, Coventry, CV3 4LF JLR Gaydon: Banbury Road, Gaydon, Lighthorne Heath, Warwick, CV35 0RR * Lyons Park: Sayer Dr, Coventry, CV5 9DQ Pay Rates & Working Hours Base Rate: £15.58 to £17.73 per hour + shift allowances (dependent on shift pattern) Overtime: Generous enhanced rates available Shifts: Predictable, set shift patterns tailored to site needs (Mornings, Afternoons, Days, or Nights) What's in It for You? Your Role & Responsibilities As a Stores / Logistics Operative , you will be at the heart of JLR's supply chain, supporting total logistics solutions and ensuring materials move seamlessly across engineering labs. What you'll be doing: Delivering first-class customer service to internal and external engineering teams. Receiving, checking, and documenting stock deliveries against order sheets. Maintaining precise stock levels while upholding world-class health, safety, and LEAN standards. Operating material handling equipment and arranging deliveries across local sites. Ordering essential parts via internal purchasing systems. Working collaboratively with supervisors to eliminate waste and optimize warehouse flow. What We Are Looking For Essential Criteria: Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence: A valid in-date Forklift truck licence is required. Logistics Experience: Proven background in stock control or warehouse logistics. Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence. Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Communication: Clear, friendly communication and the confidence to work within cross-functional teams. Flexibility: Willingness to work structured shift patterns and adapt to operational needs.
