Festival Bar Staff – Norwich Dates: Thursday 20 August – Sunday 23 August Location: Earlham Road, Norwich Pay: £11.00 per hour for ages 18–20; £12.71 per hour for ages 21+ Days available: Up to four Shift times Thursday: 3:00pm–12:00am Friday: 3:00pm–12:00am Saturday: 12:00pm–12:00am Sunday: 12:00pm–12:00am We are recruiting bartenders and bar backs for a busy outdoor music event in Norwich. This is a brilliant opportunity to meet amazing new people from the local area, work in a lively atmosphere and enjoy some awesome live music while earning money. Got friends you’d like to work with? Available roles Bartender Bar back Key responsibilities Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks Taking payments accurately and efficiently Checking identification and following licensing requirements Restocking drinks, ice and other bar supplies Keeping the bar and service areas clean, safe and organised Supporting colleagues during busy service periods Following all training, hygiene, licensing and health and safety procedures Requirements Applicants must: Be aged 18 or over due to licensing requirements Work confidently and efficiently in a busy environment Communicate clearly in English for customer service, training and health and safety purposes Be reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team Be able to stand for extended periods Be available for the full duration of each agreed shift Arrange their own transport to and from the venue Previous bar or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential. Punctuality You must arrive before your scheduled start time, allowing enough time to check in and be ready to begin work promptly. Late arrivals may be turned away and will not be paid for the missed shift. Transport Staff are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the venue. Shift times may be subject to operational changes, so please consider this when making travel arrangements. Uniform Staff must wear plain black casual clothing with minimal or no visible branding: Black jeans, trousers, shorts, skirts or leggings Plain black T-shirt Comfortable, closed-toe black shoes or trainers Dark jumper or hoodie for colder weather Tracksuits, heels, flip-flops, Crocs and open-toed footwear are not permitted.
