Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Craft Engineering Technician to join our Utilities Engineering team. This is a varied role supporting essential site services, where no two days are the same. Whether your background is mechanical or electrical, we'll provide the training and support to help you become a fully multi-skilled engineer. Bridgwater | 4 on 4 off Days What You'll Be Doing Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and compliance-related inspections Responding to breakdowns and fault finding across utilities and site equipment Maintaining boilers, compressors, CHP systems, effluent treatment plants and refrigeration equipment Supporting facilities maintenance, including building repairs and general site upkeep Stripping, rebuilding and servicing mechanical and electrical components Assisting with small engineering improvement projects What We're Looking For NVQ Level 2 in Engineering (or equivalent experience) Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience Knowledge of utilities equipment such as boilers, compressors, refrigeration, CHP or effluent plants is advantageous A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn Someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and wants to develop their skills What's In It For You? 4 on 4 off days shift pattern (06:00-18:00 or 07:00-19:00) Overtime opportunities available Structured training and development Mentoring from experienced Senior Engineers Opportunity to become fully multi-skilled Genuine career progression opportunities within Engineering and the wider business If you're a practical engineer with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the drive to develop into a highly skilled multi-disciplined technician, we'd love to hear from you.
