Temporary Receptionist
Location: Bishop's Stortford
Duration: Temporary (3-6 Months)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Hourly Pay Rate: £13-£15

Our client, a leading construction company with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality projects across the UK, is seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join their busy office in Bishop's Stortford on a temporary basis for 3-6 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of an organisation and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Due to continued business growth, there is also the potential for this role to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients and suppliers
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
- Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms for meetings
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Providing administrative support to various departments as required
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and friendly telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy office environment
- A proactive and positive attitude
