Rate of Pay: €17.50 per hour

Location: UCD Campus

Shift Pattern: Predominantly Monday-Friday with occasional weekends, 40 hours per week 

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of a specific kitchen section, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards.
• Manage daily food preparation and service for approximately 100 covers per day, maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Supervise, support, and guide junior kitchen team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards, ensuring full compliance with company and statutory requirements.
• Monitor stock levels within your section, minimise waste, and assist with ordering and inventory control.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver a high-quality dining experience for students, staff, and visitors across the UCD Campus.
• Ensure your section remains organised, clean, and service-ready at all times.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with menu delivery, service standards, and operational excellence.
