Magdalen College, High Street, Oxford, OX1 4AU Exeter College, Turl Street, Oxford OX1 3DP Start date: 1 October 2026 Applications are invited for a part-time fixed-term Stipendiary Lecturership in Ancient History, tenable for one year from 1 October 2026. The successful candidate will be required to provide on average 5.33 contact hours of tutorial teaching per week in Full Term. Approximately one third of this teaching will be for undergraduates of Exeter College studying Ancient History. Applicants should hold a doctorate or be close to completion. The successful candidate will need to show evidence of successful relevant teaching experience at undergraduate level, and must show the ability to provide a high standard of tutorial teaching in Ancient History.
