Help create meaningful employment opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. Sands End Arts & Community Centre (SEACC) is looking for a compassionate, motivated and organised Job Coach to join our Open Doors Supported Employment Programme . Open Doors provides adults with learning disabilities who have completed a supported internship with a seven month paid placement at the Walnut Tree Café, alongside personalised support to help them progress into sustainable paid employment. As a Job Coach, you will work closely with participants, the Café Manager and the wider SEACC team to build confidence, develop workplace skills and support participants on their journey into employment. During the early stages of the programme, you will attend café shifts to provide on-the-job coaching and support. As participants become more confident and independent, your support will gradually reduce, with a greater focus on employment planning, job searching and supporting participants to move into paid work beyond SEACC. We're looking for someone who has: Experience supporting people with disabilities A person-centred and strengths-based approach. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. An understanding of supported employment or employability programmes. A passion for inclusive employment and helping people achieve their goals.
