Food Production General Operative

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Food Production General Operative to help ensure the smooth running of Corporate Canteen meal preparation operations within Compass Group Ireland. This is a part-time role, contracted to 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. With potential to work extra hours as and when the business requires.

As a Food Production General Operative, you will play a vital role in reheating and preparing meals for office executives, ensuring food is served safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safely reheat and prepare meals
• Ensure all meals are served at the correct temperature and within service times
• Follow strict food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety practices
• Keep preparation and service areas clean, tidy, and compliant with regulations
• Assist with unpacking deliveries, storing food correctly, and stock rotation
• Work to daily schedules and production targets set by your Supervisor/Manager
• Undertake other kitchen or service duties as required to support the team
