At King's College Hospital, every role plays an important part in delivering exceptional patient care. As a Hospital Porter, you'll be a key member of the team, helping to keep one of London's busiest hospitals running safely and efficiently.


This is more than just a porter role – you'll be supporting patients, clinical teams and hospital departments every day, ensuring people, equipment and essential supplies are where they need to be.


We're looking for reliable, caring and hardworking individuals who can commit to working 5 days out of 7 on an ongoing basis, with shifts ranging from 8–12 hours. Full training is provided, but we're looking for people who are committed to becoming a valued member of the team.


Please note: This is not a kitchen-based role, you will be working alongside medical professionals and will interact with patients as part of the role.

As a Hospital Porter, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care and the day-to-day operation of the hospital.

No previous Hospital Porter experience is required—we'll provide full training. What matters most is your positive attitude, reliability and willingness to support patients and colleagues whenever needed.

This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Candidates who already hold an Enhanced DBS are encouraged to apply; however, if your current DBS is not on the Gov. Update Service, we can arrange this for successful applicants where required.
