Constellation is recruiting reliable Domestic Assistants and Hospital Cleaners to support one of the UK's leading hospitals, Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

With multiple vacancies available and immediate starts for successful applicants who complete the onboarding process, now is a great time to join our team.

Whether you're looking for full-time hours, weekend work, or flexible shifts around other commitments, we'd love to hear from you. Successful candidates will join our agency team and be offered temporary shifts, with many workers progressing into permanent roles.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Domestic Services team, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and hospital staff.

Your duties may include:

• Cleaning wards, clinical areas and communal spaces to a high standard
• Following infection prevention and control procedures
• Sanitising touchpoints and high-traffic areas
• Waste collection and disposal
• Restocking cleaning supplies where required
• Working as part of a supportive housekeeping team

Shift Patterns

A variety of weekday, evening, night and weekend shifts are available, including:

• 07:00 – 14:00
• 08:00 – 15:30
• 11:45 – 18:30
• 17:00 – 23:00
• 22:00 – 06:00

Candidates can apply for shifts that suit their availability, although those able to work full-time hours (around 37.5 hours per week) will be prioritised for regular bookings.

Weekend-only availability is also welcomed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team.

You'll need:

• Previous cleaning experience (hospital, healthcare, hotel, commercial or industrial cleaning experience all considered)
• Good spoken and written English
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The right to work in the UK
• 18 Year old or over

Hospital cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Before You Start

Successful applicants will complete:

• Enhanced DBS check
• Occupational Health assessment
• Mandatory training and compliance checks
