Housekeeper SSJ Properties Hampshire 20 Hours per week, Monday - Friday Salary Point 20: £14,025 per annum (£25,947 per annum FTE) About Us This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Charity and Housing Association. The Society of St James (SSJ) has been working in Hampshire for over 50 years, delivering high impact, person-centred, accommodation services to adults and young people experiencing homelessness, problematic substance use and mental health problems. The Impact You'll Make To work at a number of residential and commercial properties for the Society of St James (SSJ), in order to provide and maintain a quality housekeeping service. You will be responsible for upholding Health & Safety and COSHH standards for cleaning, ensuring communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, commercial offices, and vacant residential rooms/flats are cleaned to a high standard, alongside driving between properties to distribute supplies. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and organised individual with good time management skills. You should be able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team, with the physical capacity to carry out cleaning duties across multi-floor properties. An empathetic and non-judgmental approach towards individuals with histories of homelessness, mental health problems, and substance misuse is essential.
