No Problem.You don’t need a background in governance—we provide full training, a thorough induction, and ongoing support. What we care about most is your perspective, energy, and commitment to our community.We want a Board that reflects the people we serve. We particularly welcome applications from women (who are currently underrepresented on our Board) and individuals with lived or professional experience in:Local community & third-sector workTackling child poverty & supporting additional needsEducation & local lived insightThe Commitment6 meetings a year (rotating between in-person in Port Glasgow and online)1 annual strategy day plus occasional working groupsVisits to Inverclyde organisations that The Newark Trust supports
