Recruitment Consultant An opportunity has arisen to join a leading Recruitment agency based in Belfast, City Centre as a Recruitment Consultant, providing support to clients, building relationships/rapport and assisting with their recruitment needs. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm or 9am-5.30pm (Hybrid working hours, 3 days in office and 2 at home, after successful training) Salary negotiable dependent on experience +bonus Job Role: You will be responsible for assisting candidates with their job search and matching them to roles within Temporary, Permanent or Fixed Term Contract positions. These roles can vary from entry level roles to executives and directors. A critical aspect of your role will be to achieve performance targets in terms of financial income to the business and to explore and develop new business. Essential Criteria: Experience within customer service or sales. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. IT proficient with the use of Microsoft packages. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Developing business opportunities through targeted cold calling, attending sales meetings and presentations, organising visits and networking events. Winning new business by adopting new innovative and creative approaches to up selling the business. Growing business through market research, exploring potential opportunities, proactively marketing of candidates and selling solutions to clients. Fostering and developing close working relationships with new and existing clients and identify their current and future recruitment needs. Understanding the procedures and requirements of the client’s recruitment processes. Delivering a world class service that exceeds the client’s expectations. Closely matching the requirement of available roles to candidate’s skills, expertise and experience. Actively promoting client vacancies through online, social and paper-based media. Managing candidates’ expectations around clients’ processes and procedures and gaining their commitment. Ensuring that all relevant checks have been completed and recorded on the internal systems for candidates. Matching suitable positions for candidates as quickly as possible. Conducting marketing activity and utilising social media to attract new candidates to register. Proactively source candidates using database searches, networking and other methods. Build and maintain productive and cooperative relationships with clients, candidates and co-members.
