The Role As an Individual Needs Assistant, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with Autism. Assist pupils in accessing lessons and engaging with learning activities. Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction. Encourage independence while providing the appropriate level of guidance and reassurance. Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to implement personalised support strategies. Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. We're Looking For Someone Who: Has experience supporting children or young people with Autism or additional learning needs. Is patient, empathetic, and able to build trusting relationships. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment. Is committed to helping every student overcome barriers to learning.
