About Us We’re a specialist independent school supporting students aged 11–19 who face significant barriers to mainstream education. Many of our learners have EHCPs, SEMH needs, or are at risk of exclusion. We create a safe, personalised, and nurturing environment that helps every young person re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and reimagine their future. The Role As an Outreach Tutor , you’ll work 1:1 with students in their homes, delivering engaging functional skills sessions in English and maths. You’ll be working with learners who may have autism, SEMH needs, or additional learning difficulties—so patience, creativity, and relationship-building are key. Your goal? To spark progress… confidence… and the belief that they can achieve. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering tailored, low-ability maths and literacy sessions Supporting students with autism, SEMH, and diverse learning needs Building trust, motivation, and positive learning relationships Collaborating with fellow tutors to share resources and minimise planning What We’re Looking For Experience working with young people, ideally those with additional needs Ability to work independently and adapt to individual learning styles A DBS on the update service (or issued in the last 12 months) A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Why Join Us?
