Electrical Engineer

Connect Appointments is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Dunfermline. Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality and engineering excellence, investing significantly in staff training and on-site facilities above the industry average. Full-time permanent position after a 3-month probationary period Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays 17.00 per hour Overtime and bonuses available 33 days holiday per year As an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include: Installing and fault-finding 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems Fitting lighting, marker lamps, beacons, reversing cameras, trackers and other ancillary equipment Reading and working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams Carrying out vehicle and body electrical repairs and installations to a high standard Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with quality standards To be considered as an Electrical Engineer, you will need: Experience in commercial vehicle body building and/or auto electrics Strong knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems Confident use of workshop tools and equipment Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Experience with tail lifts, hydraulic systems or specialist commercial vehicle equipment is advantageous Interested in this Electrical Engineer role?
