Maintenance Assistant

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain, safeguard, and enhance the physical infrastructure and outdoor grounds at Plas Menai, the National Outdoor Centre. As a Maintenance Operative & Groundskeeper, you will be the driving force behind keeping our site safe, fully operational, and looking its best, bringing practical trade skills to internal maintenance, plumbing repairs, statutory Health & Safety compliance, and outdoor estate care. You will be responsible for fostering an environment that is safe, fresh, and welcoming, ensuring that whether a visitor is an elite athlete, a residential guest, or an outdoor enthusiast, they experience seamless, high-quality facilities. Beyond routine upkeep, you will act as a key guardian of site compliance and water hygiene, taking pride in maintaining specialist outdoor spaces like our mountain bike track and archery range. Your goal is to deliver exceptional site presentation and operational integrity that mirrors the excellence of our world-class outdoor facilities.
