About the Logistics Coordinator job The purpose of your role is to coordinate customer orders and logistics activities, liaise with transport providers, and work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure the efficient fulfilment of customer requirements and the delivery of an outstanding customer experience. As a key member of the Customer Fulfilment team, you will use your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the highest standards of service. Key tasks Coordinate customer deliveries by planning and organising transport, confirming loading schedules, arranging freight collections, customs clearance where required, and managing parcel shipments through approved carriers. Work closely with transport providers and the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Support the smooth flow of stock by coordinating deliveries and shipments, processing stock adjustments, booking stock against the correct batch numbers and best-before dates, and providing necessary product documentation where required. Provide excellent customer service by managing transport-related queries, arranging collections for damaged goods, processing damage claims, handling incoming telephone calls, and supporting colleagues across the Customer Services team as workloads fluctuate. Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including Quality Assurance, GDPR, Health & Safety, and Working Time Regulations. Support internal and external audits, and escalate any operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvement, sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives.
