The Vacancy

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis based in the Essex region.

As part of a team dedicated to safeguarding and rejuvenating the natural world, you’ll play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Within our Habitats Team you will get hands-on with habitat creation and management from planning to execution, you’ll be actively involved in making nature thrive again. There will also be opportunities to get involved in a wide variety of tasks including ecological and habitat surveys.

You will collaborate with a passionate team, attending site briefings, toolbox talks, and ensuring every task aligns with approved methods.

This role is perfect for early career/graduates or individuals who are already working within the sector and looking to gain further experience.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Relevant Health & Safety qualifications. (CSCS)
• An interest in ecology and the natural environment.
• A full driving license.
• You will require flexibility for occasional overnight stays for specific projects as and when required.

Desired, but not essential:

• PA1/PA6 Knapsack Spraying
• NPTC Brush-cutters
• NPTC Chainsaws
• NPTC Aerial Climbing
• First Aid
• Personal Attributes:
• A real passion for wildlife and the environment
• A good team player with the ability to perform well independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Key attention to detail.
• The ability to help others and provide support to other members of the team.
