Hybrid working 3/2 split + Clear progression pathways into Management Accounts About Our Client Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client who are looking to add a permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk to their finance team in North Leeds. My client is looking for a proactive, motivated candidate that is always keen to get better, and who loves fast paced working environments. Job Description Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all payments are up to date. Handle supplier queries and resolve any discrepancies efficiently. Weekly payment runs Assist with month-end tasks, including ledger & bank reconciliations. Supporting in month end management accounts Presenting trends and insights to the Purchase Ledger team along with other departments Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies. Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required. The Successful Applicant A successful Purchase Ledger should have: Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role Someone that is looking to find longevity in their next role Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams. Motivated to learn, progress and take on new duties as the role evolves Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel What's on Offer Strong Salary up to £30,000 p.a. 3 days on site /2 days working from home hybrid working model after training period Opportunity for Study Support in AAT, ACCA, CIMA Free parking onsite Easy location to commute by public transport Permanent position with professional growth opportunities.
