Job Description
The Froglife Trust is a national wildlife conservation organisation with a specific focus on our native reptile and amphibian populations and their habitats, for more information about Froglife visit www.froglife.org
We are calling for tenders from suitably qualified Ecologists and Ecology Services to assist with the delivery of freshwater and terrestrial habitat creation and restoration in North, South and West Yorkshire. The project is called Coalface to Wildspace Yorkshire and is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project will deliver large scale habitat works at 17 sites. We have identified the sites and written Habitat Action Plans, working with landowners, land managers and community groups. We have signed Landowner Agreements for all sites and gained outline quotes from contractors for the practical work.
Candidates will need to hold a current Great Crested Newt License and have a strong, evidence-based track record in undertaking and managing large scale habitat creation works with a particular focus on habitats that support native amphibians and reptiles.
The maximum value of the contract is £29,750 plus VAT if applicable.
