What you will do

• Undertake Child and Family Assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, within statutory timescales.
• Manage cases involving safeguarding concerns, child protection investigations, and children identified as being in need.
• Develop and implement outcome-focused Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans.
• Complete direct work with children and families, ensuring the voice of the child informs assessment and planning.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (BA, MA or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Successfully completed Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) where applicable.

Registration & Compliance

• Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
