Warehouse Operative

Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Uckfield Pay: £12.71 p/h the hourly rate will increase to £13.33 p/h after successful completion of probation. Work Type: Full-Time, Temp to perm Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week HRGO Recruitment are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy warehouse based in Uckfield. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse and maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation. Duties and Responsibilities Preparing customer orders for dispatch. Packing and wrapping goods to ensure they are securely shipped. Unloading incoming deliveries. Checking incoming stock and putting it away in the correct warehouse locations. Assisting with stock management and inventory organisation. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment. Carrying out general warehouse duties as required. Skills and Attributes Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential. Driving license and transport is required due to location Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping. Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
