Temporary Governance Administrator Location: London (Hybrid) Duration: Temporary Assignment Hours: Full-time The Role Our client, a highly respected specialist insurance firm, is seeking a proactive and organised Governance Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. Supporting the wider governance and compliance function, you will play a key role in ensuring governance processes run smoothly, committee meetings are effectively coordinated, and regulatory documentation is maintained accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment and is comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Governance and Compliance team. Coordinate Board, Committee and governance meetings, including scheduling, diary management and logistics. Prepare and distribute meeting packs, agendas and supporting documentation. Take accurate minutes and record actions from governance and committee meetings. Track and monitor action points, ensuring timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders. Maintain governance records, registers and document repositories. Support the review and updating of governance policies, procedures and terms of reference. Assist with regulatory submissions and governance reporting requirements. Monitor key governance deadlines and maintain compliance trackers. Liaise with internal stakeholders, senior management and external parties as required. Ensure all documentation is stored securely and in line with company procedures. Assist with ad hoc governance, compliance and administrative projects. Candidate Profile Previous experience within an administrative, governance, compliance, legal or company secretarial environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience coordinating meetings and managing complex schedules. Excellent minute-taking and written communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Confident working with confidential and sensitive information. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Professional and confident communication style. Desirable Experience Previous experience within insurance, financial services or a regulated environment. Exposure to corporate governance or compliance processes. Experience supporting Board or Committee meetings. Familiarity with governance or document management systems. Personal Attributes Proactive and self-motivated. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Professional, adaptable and flexible. Strong stakeholder management skills.
