This role offers an excellent opportunity for some passionate about social justice and housing law, who is eager to develop to develop hands-on experience managing housing disrepair claims from pre-action though to litigation.Duties and Responsibilities: Draft letters of claims in line with Housing Conditions pre-action protocol.Develop a solid understanding of the civil procedure rules, with a particular focus on pre action disclosure applications.Review landlord disclosure documents to identify key evidence, including notices of complaint from tenantsInstruct and liaise with expert surveyors to obtain detailed housing despair reports.Review expert reports to ensure this repair falls within the scope of section 11 over landlord and tenant act 1985 and not causation is clearly established.Value claims accurately ,including general damages, special damages, and rent abatement.Instruct barristers for formal advice on prospects of success and viability of claims.Prepare and issued court proceedings awareness the deadline procedure payment.
