Our client is a brilliant insurance firm based in the City. They are seeking a polished and professional Receptionist to become the face of their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with exceptional customer service skills who enjoys creating a warm, welcoming environment while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering a first-class front-of-house experience while providing administrative and facilities support to the wider team. This is a varied role that would suit someone who is proactive, highly organised and takes pride in delivering an outstanding service. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors and colleagues, you will ensure every interaction reflects the company's professional standards. Alongside managing reception, you'll assist with a range of administrative and facilities-related responsibilities, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and being at the heart of the office. Key Responsibilities Providing a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, offering refreshments and assisting with coats where appropriate. Managing the reception desk and acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone enquiries. Answering, screening and directing incoming calls efficiently. Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared and presented to a high standard. Setting up meeting rooms for internal and external meetings. Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming post and deliveries. Maintaining a tidy, professional reception area at all times. Ordering office and front-of-house supplies and monitoring stock levels. Maintaining office security by managing visitor access and issuing visitor passes. Arranging travel and accommodation for employees, including providing additional support to PAs when required. Assisting with the preparation and submission of monthly Facilities expenses. Providing administrative support to the Senior Facilities Manager and wider Facilities team. Assisting with general office administration, including filing, scanning and photocopying. About You Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, Hospitality or Customer Service role. A polished, professional and approachable manner. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Proactive, resourceful and happy to take ownership of tasks. Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel). A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for every visitor.
