Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for a rewarding temporary opportunity within a busy and supportive secondary school?
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join their team, providing vital support during a period of internal promotion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding support to staff, pupils, and parents.
The Role
As School Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school. You will be responsible for managing pupil records, supporting annual reviews, updating local authority systems, and acting as a professional first point of contact for parents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to school staff and departments
- Processing, maintaining, and updating pupil records and files
- Uploading information and documentation to Local Authority portals
- Supporting annual review administration
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries from parents and external agencies
- Managing and distributing calls
- Maintaining accurate records and data confidentiality
- Providing reception cover on Fridays at the Cosham site
- Supporting the wider school team with general administrative duties
About You
We're looking for someone who:

Has previous school administration experience
β
Has strong organisational and administrative skills
β
Communicates confidently with parents, staff, and external stakeholders
β
Has excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
β
Can manage confidential information professionally
β
Is confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office packages
β
Is able to work independently and prioritise a varied workload
Desirable
- Experience using Arbor
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 12:30pm (some flexibility available, including 9:00am to 1:00pm)
- Friday: 8:30am to 4:00pm (Reception based in Cosham)
