Today, we're entering an exciting period of transformation, strengthening our services, investing in our people and expanding our commercial training offer.As demand for high-quality workplace training continues to grow, we're looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Trainer/Assessor to join our Commercial Training team. This is an opportunity to help individuals and organisations build the knowledge and confidence to respond when it matters most.The RoleAs a Trainer/Assessor, you'll deliver engaging, practical training both at our training centres and at customer locations across Scotland. Working alongside a supportive team of experienced trainers, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent learning experiences while helping us grow our commercial training services.The role will be based at our Edinburgh training centre, with course delivery primarily across our Edinburgh, Glenrothes, Perth and Dundee centres. Your induction will take place at our flagship Training Academy in Glasgow. As our training opportunities continue to expand, flexibility to travel to other training centres and customer locations may also be required.You'll deliver a range of courses including:First Aid at WorkEmergency First Aid at WorkFire MarshalMental Health First AidAs our portfolio continues to expand, we'll provide the training and support you need to develop your own skills and deliver additional courses.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering high-quality, engaging training to commercial customersPreparing training environments and ensuring an excellent learner experienceCompleting course administration accurately and efficientlyMaintaining training equipment and professional standardsPromoting St Andrew's First Aid's training products and servicesWorking collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve our training provisionYou'll bring:A recognised training and/or assessor qualificationA valid First Aid at Work qualificationExcellent presentation and communication skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailConfidence working independently and as part of a teamA commitment to continuous professional developmentExperience delivering first aid or health and safety training would be advantageous, as would a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, but we're equally interested in individuals with the right attitude and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional training.Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Scottish charity that is investing in its future.
