THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join a thriving global business based in Bridgwater. Working as part of a friendly, supportive, and professional team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to customers across a diverse range of sectors. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remove staples, paper clips and bindings ready for scanning.


• Flatten pages, repair minor tears and ensure documents are neat and easy to scan.


• Keep documents in the correct order and follow filing instructions accurately.


• Attach small items such as receipts and notes to backing sheets.


• Add barcode and separator sheets where needed for document tracking and indexing.


• Identify documents that need special handling before scanning.


• Scan and log barcodes onto the tracking system.


• Update records to ensure documents can be tracked at all times.


• Follow GDPR guidelines and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

KEY SKILLS:

• Strong attention to detail


• Ability to follow specific client handling instructions


• IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages


• Able to work well as part of a team and independently
