Job Description
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience. This position is a non-ridden or ridden position dependant on your riding level and daily tasks will include general yard and grooming duties such as: Turning out, Bringing in, Rug changes, Grooming, Tacking up, Lunging, Mucking out. Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills. Prior basic experience is essential along with a great attitude. To apply for this role you must be a UK resident or have lived in the EU for 3 years. Unfortunately, there is no accommodation or livery for own horse on site. Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship. Find out about potential future pay. Upon completion, there may be an opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship and/or gain permanent employment. There may also be opportunities to groom at shows.
