Job Description
Hyperion Equestrian Centre, a livery, training, and competition yard, seeks a Level 2 Equine Apprentice passionate about horses and the outdoors. The role involves providing essential day-to-day care, including feeding, grooming, cleaning equipment, handling, preparing, and exercising horses, along with carrying out routine yard duties. Candidates will work as part of a team in a friendly atmosphere and should have a love for horses regardless of the weather. Ideal applicants should possess GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4), along with skills such as communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem solving, logical thinking, team working, creativity, initiative, patience, and physical fitness. Accommodation and livery for the candidate's own horse is available if required, with full training provided and riding and competing opportunities for the right individual. Hyperion Equestrian offers a relaxed atmosphere combined with high-quality facilities and the potential for future progression. After this apprenticeship, candidates may have opportunities to enroll in the Advanced Equine Groom Apprenticeship, leading to further qualifications and job opportunities in competition yards, along with BHS training towards exams.
