Key role objectives We are looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 Customer Service Apprentice, demonstrating an enthusiastic and friendly approach, and assist in maintaining exceptional customer service in all forms to both internal and external customers. As the first point of contact for enquiries this will include meet and-greet, covering reception, answering calls, responding to emails, handling enquiries, and liaising with customers. We are looking for someone who is friendly, a great communicator and enjoys a challenge. You will ensure that administrative tasks are carried with accuracy and efficiency to support the quality of the work of the Construction faculty. You will be supported to complete your Apprenticeship alongside experienced and enthusiastic staff, learn about a variety of processes and systems whilst completing your Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship and becoming an exceptional team player.Main Duties: To assist in and undertake administrative tasks as allocated including photocopying, answering the telephone, filing, etc. To open and distribute mail as required.Input and maintain student records within college database. Attend meetings and Faculty ‘Heads up’ to record and distribute minutes. Use appropriate systems and workflows to process enquiries, requests, orders and bookings using Exeter College’s policies to ensure confidentiality and discretion. Use a range of software packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams as well as other software programmes. Carry out reception duties, receive and direct visitors, deal with enquiries and oversee incoming and outgoing mail and to coordinate the visits of any guests including car parking etc. bringing about the best outcome for customers Providing administrative support ensuring work is completed to deadlines provided. To maintain college notice boards. To help staff preparing their trips and visits paperwork and to support in arranging transport. To support staff in preparing materials that will help in teaching and learning. Mandatory Duties: 1. Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. 2.
