Apprentice Butcher

A Butcher Apprentice will learn how to:• Prepare, trim, weigh and price up meat;• Cut and bone a carcase;• Package meat and store it correctly;• They will be discussing different cuts with customers, including how to cook and safely store them;• Always keeping their working environment safe and storing meat in accordance with health and safety legislation;• Maintain business records and budgets.
