You'll gain real workplace experience across office administration, compliance documentation, and finance while working towards your AAT Level 2 qualification.What You'll Be DoingGeneral Administration & Office SupportAnswer calls, emails and post, keeping responses prompt and professionalKeep digital and physical filing systems accurate, including job records, certificates and compliance documentsSupport diary management and scheduling for engineers and site visitsOrder and manage office and site suppliesHealth, Safety & ComplianceHelp prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements and site documentationSupport record-keeping in line with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and CDM 2015Maintain training records, certifications and RAMS filingAssist with H&S inductions and safe systems of work paperworkFinance & InvoicingRaise and process sales invoices and purchase ordersHelp chase outstanding payments and keep financial records accurateSupport quote preparation and job costings under supervisionLiaise with the company accountant as neededCustomer & Client LiaisonBe a first point of contact for clients, keeping things professional and friendlyCoordinate job bookings and keep clients updated on scheduling and progressHandle queries and escalate where neededHelp build strong relationships with existing and new customersWhat We're Looking ForEssential:GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and maths (or equivalent)Strong written and verbal communication skillsOrganised, with good attention to detailConfident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Reliable, punctual and professionalFull UK driving licence, as the role involves supporting scheduling for site visitsWillingness to learn and take on responsibilityDesirable:Previous experience in an office or customer-facing roleInterest in construction, electrical or engineering sectorsFamiliarity with basic bookkeeping or invoicingQualification gained: AAT Level 2
