Job Description

This multi-skilled role supports the day-to-day operation of meeting and conference spaces and hospitality services, ensuring a high-quality experience for clients, guests and stakeholders.Duties include coordinating room bookings, preparing conference facilities, welcoming visitors, supporting event administration, managing enquiries and assisting with café operations. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting health and safety procedures, and helping to support the smooth running of Exeter Science Park.Through this apprenticeship, you will develop valuable administrative, customer service and organisational skills while gaining experience in a professional business environment.Other duties include:Work collaboratively with ESPL’s core andextended teams to develop and deliver successful products and services insupport of ESPL’S vision, mission, objectives and strategy.Liaise closely with and support the CentreSupport Officer for the Seminar andMeeting rooms, ensuring that they meet client needs. Ensuring that routine maintenance issues arereported to the Client Services Manager, and compliance with risk assessmentsand operational procedures.Maintain a flexible approach to providesupport to team members during busy parts of the day, holidays and sicknesscover, as well as on an ad-hoc basis, as required. 1.
