Job Description

Working as part of the busy Housekeeping team to deliver a professional Housekeeping Porter service to our College community, all the time following relevant H&S requirements and College processes. This post would suit someone who: Has previous experience as a Housekeeping Porter Is able to move and lift heavy items in line with risk assessments after training Has experience in a public/customer facing position, with excellent customer service skills including the ability to be proactive, using own initiative and problem solve. Is a good communicator, with a helpful and friendly approach Demonstrates an ability to identify problems and develop and implement solutions Key role responsibilities include: Please see the job description for further information on the role responsibilities. Working arrangements and salary This is a 6-month fixed term contract (subject to a 3-month probation period). Competitive salary range of £14.00 per hour. Hours of work are between 5 and 6 hours per day, working the afternoon shift starting at either 11.00 am or 12.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
