Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a growing, fast-paced business and take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with hiring managers across the organisation, helping to attract, engage and secure top talent while shaping the future of the company's recruitment strategy and employer brand. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of roles, partnering with stakeholders at all levels and delivering an outstanding candidate experience from application through to offer and onboarding. Our client has stunning offices in the heart of the West End and is an industry leading special effects firm, this is a temp role to cover additional workload across the summer months, crucial to the role is prior experience recruiting software engineers. You will take ownership of recruitment across the business, supporting both immediate hiring needs and future growth plans. Working collaboratively with the People team and hiring managers, you will develop innovative sourcing strategies, provide market insight, and use recruitment data to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process across a broad range of business and technical roles Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, draft job specifications and deliver effective recruitment strategies Develop creative sourcing techniques to identify and engage high-calibre candidates in competitive markets Advertise vacancies across job boards, careers pages and social media platforms, including LinkedIn Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing, presenting high-quality shortlists to hiring managers Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, from application through to offer Maintain the Applicant Tracking System and ensure recruitment documentation is accurate and compliant Monitor recruitment metrics and analyse hiring data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement Provide market insights and advise hiring managers on recruitment strategies, talent availability, and hiring challenges Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, influencing hiring decisions and managing expectations Work with external recruitment partners where required, ensuring cost-effective hiring solutions Champion inclusive hiring practices and support managers in delivering fair, consistent interview processes Contribute to employer branding initiatives by supporting recruitment events and representing the business externally where appropriate About You Prior recruitment experience (in-house or agency) recruiting software engineers Proven experience in either agency or in-house recruitment Experience partnering with hiring managers across a variety of seniority levels and business functions Demonstrated success sourcing candidates directly across technical and non-technical roles Strong knowledge of modern sourcing techniques and proactive talent mapping Experience building talent pipelines for both current and future hiring requirements Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously Outstanding verbal and written communication skills A data-driven approach, using recruitment metrics to influence hiring decisions and improve processes A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Bain and Gray is an equal opportunities employer.
