This six-month post (with possibility of extension) offers a valuable opportunity for someone passionate about the environment to gain experience and develop practical ecological survey and analytical skills within a Local Authority, in one of the UK’s most beautiful and biodiverse regions.
This varied role will provide support to the Highland Council Ecology Team, with responsibilities primarily focused on assisting the Ecology Survey Team and with the Local Nature Conservation Sites (LNCS) designation process. The successful candidate will have some experience of ecology survey and GIS skills, along with a keen interest in Highland ecology and a willingness to learn.
