Job Description Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain the purchase ledger by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. Prepare and process supplier payments, ensuring compliance with company policies. Assist with month-end and year-end processes related to the purchase ledger. Manage supplier queries and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records. Support the accounting team with ad hoc administrative tasks. Contribute to process improvements within the purchase ledger function. The Successful Applicant A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have: Previous experience in a similar role within accounting and finance. Strong numerical and organisational skills. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. Good communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams. What's on Offer A competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £30,000 per annum.
