Location: South West London Duration: Beginning August onwards (temporary assignment 2/3 months, reviewed weekly) Role: Full-time, 5 days a week in the office. Salary: £50,000–£55,000 (hourly rate equivalent) We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chief Executive Officer and the Chair of one of London's leading hospital and research institutions. This is a fast-paced, high-profile role requiring an experienced EA who can step in immediately, build trust quickly and operate with confidence from day one. The Role Supporting two senior executives, you will act as a true business partner, managing complex and ever-changing priorities with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement. You'll be someone who anticipates needs before they arise, keeps competing demands under control and ensures both executives are able to focus on what matters most. Working closely with a wider Executive Assistant team, you'll become a trusted co-pilot, collaborating seamlessly while taking ownership of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Complex diary management across both professional and personal commitments Managing high volumes of email traffic and prioritising urgent matters Coordinating itineraries and logistics Filter phone calls and communications Supporting high-profile meetings, events and stakeholder engagements Liaising confidently with senior leaders, trustees, patrons, external partners and VIPs Preparing briefing materials and ensuring executives are fully prepared Exercising excellent judgement on what requires escalation and what can be handled independently Acting as a gatekeeper while maintaining a warm, welcoming and highly professional approach Providing seamless support to the wider Executive Office as required Working collaboratively with fellow Executive Assistants to ensure excellent cover and continuity About You You will be an accomplished Executive Assistant with experience supporting C-suite executives, board-level leaders or other high-profile individuals within complex organisations. You'll be someone who: Hits the ground running with minimal direction Is exceptionally organised and calm under pressure Has outstanding judgement and absolute discretion Thrives in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment Is proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused Is confident dealing with senior stakeholders and influential individuals Has excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail Is comfortable managing both business and personal executive support Is unflappable, adaptable and always willing to go above and beyond Experience supporting leaders with demanding travel schedules, international commitments or high-profile stakeholder engagement would be highly advantageous.
