Contract Type: Full Time- Permanent -London Underground
Overview of project/role
Reporting to a Comms DLO Work Controller and is responsible for ensuring that the Comms DLO Assets are maintained and delivered into service in a safe and timely manner. In addition to this, is to support other LUL business units whenever instructed to by their Line Manager.
Key Accountabilities
The job holder must be committed to LUL’s General Safety Policy statement and the Company’s safety programme and be aware of his/her contribution to the programme, including the requirement to monitor safety performance and compliance with the systems established to assist in maintaining high safety standards.
The jobholder must be familiar with the safety legislation that is relevant to his/her post and comply with the necessary statutory requirements. These will include the Health & Safety at Work Act, Fire Precautions Act 1971 and associated regulations.
- Collect and verify all required information relevant to assigned tasks
- Escalate any missing or incomplete information to the appropriate personnel
- Prepare and organise all necessary tools, equipment, and materials prior to work
- Inspect tools, equipment, and materials to ensure they meet required standards
- Identify and resolve issues promptly within own level of responsibility
- Escalate any complex problems or deviations that cannot be resolved independently
- Follow established processes and procedures to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Accurately update and utilise systems such as the Fieldreach Asset Database and Field Data Manager
- Take corrective action to repair or rectify defective assets where required
- Complete all documentation in line with company standards and procedures

- A basic knowledge providing support functions to maintenance activities.
Experience
- LUCAS Card or (On Line Assessment)
- Depot/Track Competent (Desirable)
- Protection Master (Traffic & Or Eng. Hours) (Desirable)
- Lifts and Escalators Entry Permit (Desirable)
- Full Driving Licence (Essential)
- PASMA certificate (Erecting Towers) (Desirable)
