Warehouse Operative (counterbalance licence) Location: Sittingbourne Contract: Permanent Annual Salary: £29,564 Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm; Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Join our client's team as a Warehouse Operative and play a crucial role in the efficient packing and handling of goods. This position requires a proactive individual with a valid Counterbalance licence who can contribute to the smooth operations of our warehouse. Day-to-day of the role: Operate counterbalance forklifts to move and manage stock within the warehouse. Load and unload deliveries efficiently, ensuring all goods are checked and stored correctly. Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping. Perform regular stock checks and update the warehouse management system accordingly. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a warehouse environment. Must possess a valid Counterbalance licence. Good physical fitness, capable of handling manual tasks. Attention to detail and reliability in handling assigned tasks.
