ASC Connections is currently recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Trainee Thread Coating Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within production and engineering, with full training provided. The successful candidate will learn how to apply specialist coatings to components, and carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications. Hours: 10am-3pm Monday to Wednesday - can be flexible with hours. Pay rate: £12.71 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent Key Responsibilities Prepare components for the coating process. Learn to operate specialist thread coating machinery and equipment. Apply coatings to components in line with production requirements. Perform visual quality checks on finished products. Follow work instructions and quality procedures. Complete basic production records and documentation. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Adhere to all health and safety procedures. Candidate Requirements Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Good attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Ability to follow instructions accurately. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
