We are working with a secondary school in Solihull who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to carry out a long-term position. The role is to start in September 2026 instance will run till Christmas but could extend into the spring term of 2027. Within the school you will be working with a pupil who has an ECHP related to anxiety and mental wellbeing. The role will entail providing consistent one-to-one support throughout the school day and across all lessons. Supporting the student's emotional regulation and engagement with learning. Facilitating movement breaks and using proactive strategies to help the student remain regulated. Building a positive and trusting relationship with the student and engaging with them through sporting activities. The school is looking for someone who is calm, patient, proactive, and experienced in supporting children with additional needs, particularly ADHD. Previous experience working in a school or alternative provision would be highly desirable.
