P/T Clinical Secretary | MUST have Adult DBS

Hours: 18.75 hours a week (required Thurs, Friday & Saturday 0645-1300)

Location: Epsom, office based

Hourly Rate: £14-£15ph plus holiday pay

You will be providing administrative and secretarial support to doctors, consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Typical duties include:

Administrative Support

• Typing clinic letters, medical reports, and correspondence from audio dictation.


• Meet & greet patients and families


• Administration duties scanning, taking notes etc


• Maintaining patient records and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.


• Filing, scanning, and storing confidential documents securely.


• Managing consultants' diaries and schedules.


• Answering telephone calls and email enquiries from patients, GP surgeries, and other healthcare professionals.


• Booking, rearranging, and cancelling appointments.


• Providing patients with information about clinics, procedures, and hospital services.


• Dealing with patient queries and concerns professionally.

Key Skills Required

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.


• Strong typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office, electronic patient record systems).


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Attention to detail and accuracy.


• Understanding of medical terminology.


• Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
