We are working on such a lovely role for a proactive and personable Office Assistant to join a professional and friendly office environment on an ongoing temporary basis, x2 days per week. Working closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chairman, you will become an integral part of the business support team, providing hands-on assistance across office administration, reception, facilities, and executive support. This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy office, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is happy to get involved wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Providing day-to-day support to the Executive Assistant, wider administration team, and Reception Booking UK and international couriers, travel, hotels, and transport Coordinating restaurant reservations and meeting arrangements Preparing and clearing meeting rooms Managing office supplies, stationery, kitchen stock, and general consumables. Liaising with suppliers, contractors, IT support, and maintenance providers Assisting with facilities management and resolving day-to-day office issues Processing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier collections Maintaining digital filing systems and accurate office records Supporting health and safety administration Assisting with company events, internal functions, and ad hoc projects About You Previous experience within an office support, administration, reception, or office assistant role Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively A friendly, professional, and confident approach when dealing with colleagues and visitors A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support wherever needed Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to occasionally assist outside of standard hours when required.
