Connect Appointments is recruiting a Transport Clerk to join an established logistics business based in Larkhall on a temporary ongoing basis.Our client operates a busy transport and distribution operation, requiring a reliable and organised individual to support the smooth running of daily logistics administration.What's on offer?Ongoing temporary positionMonday to Friday, 11am to 7pm14.83 per hour, paid weeklyAs a Transport Clerk, your duties will include:Scheduling and monitoring vehicle routes and delivery timesCommunicating with drivers regarding routes, delays and instructionsProcessing delivery notes, invoices and consignment documents accuratelyTracking shipments and updating customers and internal teams on progressHandling incoming and outgoing calls and emails related to transport operationsEnsuring compliance with company procedures and transport regulationsTo be considered as a Transport Clerk, you will need:Previous experience in a logistics, transport or administration roleStrong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailGood communication skills, both written and verbalBasic computer literacy including spreadsheets and transport management systemsThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesInterested in this Transport Clerk role?
