Connect Appointments is recruiting a Weighbridge Operator to join an established waste management and recycling business in Blantyre.Our client requires a professional and organised individual to operate the site weighbridge and manage related administration, in a part-time role offering 20 hours per week over 3 days.What's on offer?Ongoing temporary position20 hours per week over 3 days13.74 per hour, paid weeklyAs a Weighbridge Operator, your duties will include:Directing traffic on and off site and operating the weighbridge accuratelyRecording vehicle weights and waste types, completing documentation and collecting driver signaturesMaintaining the weighbridge area and office in a clean, tidy and hazard-free conditionProviding daily handovers on compliance and operational mattersSupporting general administration, customer service and telephone enquiriesTo be considered as a Weighbridge Operator, you will need:Previous weighbridge or waste management experience is advantageous but not essentialStrong organisational and administrative skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure on your own initiativeA proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and see tasks throughInterested in this Weighbridge Operator role?
