Connect Appointments is recruiting Food Production Operatives to join an established dairy manufacturing business based in Gifford.Our client produces specialist cheese and dairy products to BRCGS food safety standards, offering a 4-on 4-off shift pattern that gives you four days off every week as standard, with both day and night shifts available.What's on offer?Ongoing temporary positionWorking week of a 4-on 4-off shift patternYour choice of days (6am to 2pm) or nights (10pm to 6am)13.50 per hour - paid weeklyAs a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:Assisting in the production and packing of cheese and cultured cream products to defined specificationsPerforming shredding and dicing of mozzarella using approved equipment and safe working practicesFilling, packing, sealing and labelling products accurately including correct batch codes and use-by datesCompleting all production and cleaning records accurately to support traceability and audit complianceMaintaining high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and allergen control requirementsTo be considered as a Food Production Operative, you will need:Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is advantageousAn understanding of food safety procedures and hygiene standardsA reliable, detail-focused approach to work with the ability to follow instructions accuratelyA positive, team-focused attitudeInterested in this Food Production Operative role?
